Water Puppets and Completely Orderly Chaos

We saw a water puppet show this evening. This form of wntertainment started with the floods of the rice fields along the Red River of northern Vietnam. During the floods, the people told stories and entertained each other with puppets -- in the water, of course. Beautifully done.

It's our last night in Hanoi and I think I'm going to miss it. We'll see how it is in Hue, Da Nang and Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City. I'm beginning to appreciate the rhythm of the traffic. The chaos is not so chaotic. I might even be able to learn to drive in it. Maybe.
