Driving on Isle of Lewis

First of all you have to get used to staying on the left side -- except there is no left side on one lane roads. Then you keep watch for oncoming traffic and keep an eye out for the occasional "passing place." We've only had to back up to a passing place  one time. It all seems to work out even when meeting a bus. It can be a little exciting (read "hair-raising") at times -- but one gets used to it fairly quickly.

Of course, right now Barb is doing the driving but we all try to do our part with reminders to "stay on the left" and general navigation tips.  And it is preparing us for driving in Ireland.

Its all part of the journey.
